I love that you can make vegetarians and meat eaters happy with your show. Another amazing recipe. Sorry I have not been commenting lately, I have been watching your show on my TV with the Amazon stick and there is no way to comment on that. But, I am still watching every week. Ok, so the veggies being sifted through the strainer looked so fresh and edible. Yum. I like the jalapeños sliced in rounds also. It makes your meal have a much more restaurant feel. When those cakes went into the pan, they looked firm and ready to cook. The fridge was a good idea. Wow, the finished product looked amazing. Another great vegetarian meal. I loved watching this. I have salted vegetables before, and you are right: they definitely lose a lot of water. It's very surprising, actually. I think that coriander and mustard seeds in the brine would be delicious. I will have to try making refrigerator pickles. Wow, those cakes turned out absolutely great. Thanks for sharing!

I just love vegetable cakes...and using the halloumi cheese was so original! Ive only had the traditional way where they serve it whole and warm. all the vegetables you used were so colorful too. Such a great summertime dish Jeff! The pickles were the perfect pairing too. And I will have to look for that wine..sounds exactly my style.

Keto lovers would b excited and eager to try this. My first time to see u preparing without meat nor fish. This is why I find your channel different from other cooking channels because u always consider alternatives since your viewers are diverse. Take for example that egg part. That’s nice of you to give us ideas what to use instead of the fresh eggs. My mother in law doesn’t eat egg but she can eat this kind of recipe. So your alternatives for eggs might work just in case. I’m not vegetarian but I find this interesting.

I love this veggie combination of veggie. I make this same thing without the cheese. You have patient of grating it manually. I get help from my food processor grater specially with big batch. I love the pickle recipe👍🏻
