Chris Piccirillo i live around the 27th and camelback area. For where i live, right now I don't have it pointing directly at south mountain. I found I got the most Chanel's pointing it in a south west direction. I also added a small rabbit ear antenna with a booster to my set up. I found putting it no in line but in parallel with the other this antenna

Putting it in parallel worked best. I'm getting about 89-90 Chanel's right now. I'm going to add my old dish to the system and point it north letting any signals coming from their bounce off and into my antenna to see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Me too and it seems to be the trend lately with soaring Cable/Satellite prices. I couldn't be happier with this antenna for my local stations. Since there were just a few popular Cable channels I watched, I signed up for Sling TV, only $20 per month to stream over my high speed internet and so far I'm very pleased with their service.

I live out in the country and with a 30$ indoor antenna picked up only 3 channels and 2 of them were QVC, not exactly what I hoped for. With only setting this one up in my dinning room a few feet off the ground I picked up 34 channels. I can't wait to see my results when I get this antenna up in the air20' or so!

Great! You should receive more when you mount it higher. Mine is around 30' and I pick up around 45 channels... very impressive & better then my huge antenna from the old days! I never even need to turn mine either :) Enjoy that free HDTV James!

Good deal. I get 16-3 and (MeTV) loud and super clear (I'm SE ABQ). My wife watches MeTV all the time. I even have it split into 2 rooms, living room and bedroom.

LOL, I need to use it more. I only use it if I feel bad. Probably at least once per week would be good. Tried to talk my mother by law to use it. She has issues and is 83.

Robert DIY Trying to go fully inverted at 83 might not be advisable. Maybe a lesser degree would help with general aches and pains but going completely inverted might cause more pain. I lock mine out at different levels for different activities but save going fully inverted for things like active spine pain or doing my abdominal routine. It’s great for working all of your abdominal muscles and your core as well. I have an old bowling ball that I use at arms length for activating deep core muscles. Moving the ball around increases the intensity. You look fit but still start that type of exercise with only your body weight and increase to lighter weights as you feel more comfortable. Thanks again for the antenna advice. I was about to buy one but went to the antenna website only to find out we would only get 1.5 stations. That huge selection reminded me of my youth with a regular analog version. In those days one person watched the tv and called out commands to another person at the outside door who in turn relayed the orders to yet another person on the pole who was turning the antenna. Having multiple people available wasn’t always an option here in the rural Appalachian mountains so you’d end up doing all three jobs. Times sure have changed.

It can be real tough when you get away from the metoplex. Satellite will be your friend.

Robert DIY we’ve had satellite tv before but I had it turned off because it wasn’t watched very much and I couldn’t justify the cost. Paying a lot of money monthly for 200 channels of nothing just didn’t appeal.

No, there is one PBS Station due south of me but there is a mountain between them and me.

The splitter should have an IN and OUTS. You should go from the antenna to the IN. From the out to the antenna box, then to the TV.

thanks a lot for your assistance. Was able to get antenna to work by bypassing time warner cable splitter all together. Am able to get 35 channels with no sweat. My next question is how to utilize this antenna and connect to tv in bedroom and guest room. With both TWC and Directtv they had a splitter going to all three rooms, how can I accomplish the same results?

I guess you will need to purchase a multi-output splitter as well.

Robert I as well as my niece owe you an apology. You suggested that I connect my antenna booster to another tv which is older than the one that I have. I'd been getting channels without difficulty so didn't understand how another tv would make her difference. When I insisted that my niece's fiancé change the antenna booster to the other tv low and behold I was able to get more channels than I'd ever gotten with the box being connect to the new TV. You the man.

They claim 150.

Mileage claims are marketing BS!

More likely 60 to 75 miles on a clear day or at night. The 150 is the reception diameter with the antenna located in the middle. The reception radius is actually 75 miles.

Whatever it says on the box.

No. If it is not working, you either have a bad cable or bad antenna. I'm getting a LOT of reports of the antennas failing to rotate in the past 30 days.

It's powered through the coax cable from the control box. Got mine connected to about 75 ft of coax with a grounding block in the first 20 ft of coax from the antenna.

+Camping Today it will slide on. If your house is newer (1990+) and your not in a valley, you may be able to set it in the attic and connect it to the house cable pre-wire.

my house was here from the 1950s. can i cheat and get the "y shaped wall mount" things and my choice outdoor antenna and get on a latter and hang the antenna on the peak roof corner of the house and have it rotate when in use
