I’m late to Joey Diaz, started listening last week and love him. But one thing I’ve seen that I don’t get. Everyone is mentioning “church” what does it refer to/mean?
MrCroatia I heard in a podcast that when Joey sold cars in Colorado he worked for this guy that use to tell everyone that they should live in the present and not focus too much on the future, I think that’s where Joey got the church of what’s happening now.
Trust me bro when Joey starts laughing everything is ok in the world. Joey is a proper legend. Love this dude he’s given me so many hours Of pure comedy
Yo stoney I know you're high AF dyin to diaz like I do every day, he is the best because everyone in the world can relate to him, he's got that old school shit he's the last of the Mohicans. Stay high bro 💯👍
@@Twisted_utopia you know mate. Not legal over here so I have to go for a walk in a field nearby when i smoke. Listening to Joey is nearly everytime. He's a never-ending fountain of true knowledge. Keep it lit bruv!
@@shayZero buy a shed , I smoke in there and even if you stick your noes up to the door you can't smell shit. Worthwhile investment if you have a garden
That fucking laugh kills me everytime. 😂☠💀 I remember one night it was like the spirit of uncle joey. I was high as hell at my boys place and talking about stupid shit in high school. I bursted out laughing like this. Deadass.
@Pappy Van Winkle Ah I remember those days. 50-75 for reg flip for 100-125. Then the good weed was 150 which I'd turn around and flip for 300 to rich kids. Had this guy named "Bling" who I NEVER once seen his face. Had a chick go between who made a joint. He'd bag the ounce, wrap in paper towel, then vacuum seal it. I miss the old days.
Tania S I kid you not when I say, I literally cried like a baby, I’m talking crocodile tears listening to this story. Probably the closest I’ve ever been to dying from laughter. I was trying to be quite too and just howling laughing uncontrollably. It was like a religious experience or some shit. Tremendous is the only word I can think of!
Man, I love these stories and it just gives me an insight to what the 80s and 90s were like for a young immigrant kid. I was born in '01 so it's mesmerizing to me. 😂 Joey I absolutely love you man.
This is one THE greatest Uncle Joey stories of ALL. I shit y’all not, I’m over here in Japan and I had a bunch of muthafuckas at a pizza bar in Kyoto cheering “PUERTO RICAN NELSON!!”
I was dying laughing! Millineals these days wont even invite anyone over to their homes no more. Too busy watching Netflix & following Instagram Models while playing Fortnight. Kids these days.😒
It was fucking fun being a kid back in the day. I'm so glad I didn't grow up with social media and cell phones, we did the same kind of stupid shit all the time and its the funniest memories I have. I laughed so hard when I was kid that I peed myself on multiple occasions.
I believe him, there are so many characters back home in Puerto Rico. let me tell you about Luis "Furia"(Fury in english) he was alcohol/drug addict one time he was high on something and had broken into a house to steal but dint steal anything he was just off his rocker he had only his shorts and the police were searching for him he was so high that to escape the police he jumped from rooftop to rooftop back then the houses were wood whit Zinc ceiling, so they heard his steps but couldn't find him eventually they lost him... the dude was so high that out of one of the rooftops, he popped out like a hero whit only his shorts and his arms spread and he screamed at the top of his lung "You can't catch me!!!!!!! i am LUIIIISSSS FURIIAAAAA!!!!!" needless to say he fell like an idiot and they caught him hahahahah. From then on he became know as Luis "Furia" he died few years back but i never found out his last name. he was always "Furia" to me.
I can watch this clip over and over. Puerto Rican Nelson is an all time great story. I grew up in Richmond VA, in the 80s and 90s, I have stories with similar context, but this story is just beautiful. Joey is a master story teller
