as always your food looks delicious! I love a good shepherd's pie. I've made them using ground chicken, or TVP (textured vegetable protein that I hydrate with some vegetable broth). I have seen recipes for a fisherman's pie which is like shepherd's pie but using fish instead. It's like a seafood chowder, so it utilizes different fish/seafood in it. It looked really good.

Your blueberry pancake recipe is a staple for me! I sometimes mix up the berries. Investors even done a homemade SF apple pie filling type recipe in it.

@@PlanningUsHealthy that should have been “I’ve” not investors. Lol! Here is the recipe I use. I usually add some extra water to make more juice. MICROWAVED APPLES 1 large apple, peeled and diced small 1 teaspoon apple pie spice* 1 tablespoon sugar substitute of choice 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch 3 tablespoons water Put apples in a sprayed microwave safe dish and sprinkle with spice and sugar. Stir to combine. Mix the cornstarch into the water and pour over apples. Microwave, uncovered, 2 - 3 minutes or until as soft as you like. This will thicken as it cools. They are great for anywhere you'd use apple pie filling. 0 points on all plans. These are the same apples I use in the Apple Pie French Toast Casserole I believe this recipe is from A Girl and Her Phone.

Sorry about that - I always forget to mention that. I just heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds and then kind of move it around and then put back in for another 30 seconds, depending on the microwave. Some microwaves cook real fast and it only needs 30 seconds.

I stopped using any sweetener that has erythritol in. I read it can cause heart problems. I love the Mrs. Butterworth syrup. My granddaughter calls it Mrs. Butterway. 😂😂

I'm not comfortable with that study that was done.i have seen a couple scientists debunk the study. BUT we each have to do our own research and do whats right for us individually 😊 And that is the cutest about your granddaughter 🤣🤣

Hi there! I'm not sure what the dimensions are on a mini loaf pan, but these are 4 inches across on the bottom (the top kind of widens out and is 5 inches across) and then they are 2 inches deep. Hope that gives some comparison. :)

I would think you could, but I'm not sure as I've never tried it. It may change the flavor of it and might make it a tad bit thinner maybe. Worth a try though!

I'm still new to your channel (as of last week). When you do WW, do you only count points or do you actually look at the carbs/calories? Sorry I was told to lose weight and I've tried a lot of "diets" but I'm always hungry - especially on Keto. This makes me binge a couple times a week and then after failing a few times I just quit because I feel hopeless. Your meals look great but I worry if I would lose weight because they look "too good". :D Can you let me know more and how WW has worked for you?

For me, personally, I look at calories and protein but only because I share them for people on my channel and because my doctor and I are working on some protein needs for me. I'm also a nutrition coach so I understand the points versus calories, etc. But I always say for someone just starting out with WW, to just stick to the points so it's not so overwhelming. Weight Watchers figures all the calories, sugar, protein, carbs, etc. into the points, so no sense overcomplicating things, especially in the beginning. WW has definitely worked for me. I lost 93 pounds on it years ago, but I didn't learn anything and gained the weight back. In 2019 I recommitted and lost abut 50 pounds. This time around I realized it's more about health and just living every day for my best health. I need this to be long term, not just a way to take the weight off. So, my focus is honestly more in a maintenance mindset now. Even though I still need to lose more weight, I don't want my focus to be so much on weight loss as on just focusing on healthy eating, but also having other things in moderation and enjoying birthdays and celebrations. I don't want life to pass me by because I couldn't go to a party because I was worried about the food. That's just not the relationship with food that I want. Phew! Hope I didn't bore you with all that! LOL It's just such a hard question to answer at this point in my life. And welcome to the PUH family!!! 💕

Hi Nikki! They are 2 inches high by 4 inches across (on the bottom - 5 inches across the top because the lip kind of spreads out). If I fill them with water, it holds 2 cups right to the brim.
