After Saul complained to Bob, I would've dragged Saul to Bob's office then have Bob explain the deal to him. Then I would drag Saul to HR to file a complaint of harassment. Apparently Saul has a hearing problem with people below him.

I'd make sure there were no witnesses first though, of course, then I'd have grabbed Saul by the throat, punched him in the gut and told him if he ever spoke to me like that again, I'd castrate him with a rusty spoon. Extreme explosive violence is so uncommon in our 'civilized' society, people just get plowed over by it now. They don't know how to form a rational response so 99 times out of 100 they are paralyzed by it, not responding at all. Of course, I'm more than a little psychotic at times so...

Sethbrof's boss took the diplomatic approach. If I was his boss, I'd back him up and let Saul go to HR. When HR calls us in, I would've said the same thing Sethbrof said: "We're doing our jobs by fixing these machines, does Saul have that much free time on his hands?".

I had a similar experience in a company I worked for, a guy brought his coffee maker and some time later he was transfered to another department, therefore he took his coffee maker. Most workers were pissed, and HR didn't allow company money to be used to buy this sort of 'equipment', so my boss told everyone he would buy from his pocket, because he obviously had a bigger salary than everyone else in the department and knew it was important for the peace in the office. He made sure no one would blame the other guy, and became a hero in the department. That's a good management, haha

I had the same kinda situation as the coffee maker but with a bluetooth speaker in a kitchen I worked in years ago. I used to leave it there 24/7 that way I wouldn’t forget it for work & other employees could listen to the music they wanted instead of just finding a crappy channel on the old ass radio. One day we got a new cook who was super ignorant, she’d do everything she could to get people in trouble, blackmail them over the dumbest things, etc. I had a few days off planned for the beach & I decided to take my speaker with me because it’s mine & I want it for the beach, however because I’m a nice person I left an aux cord for the radio so everyone could still play the music they wanted. When the ignorant new girl found out she immediately texted me saying she was gonna tell the boss I stole the kitchens speaker & now they can’t play music, I told her you can play music I left an aux cord, she then went on & on about how it was rude of me to leave them an aux cord because she can’t walk around with her phone, it has to stay by the radio to play music & that the radio was old & crappy. What she didn’t know is the radio was mine too LOL I brought it when I first started 4yrs earlier & eventually brought my speaker in cause it was newer, better sound quality & I used my aux for the car. After explaining to her that everything in that kitchen that played music or helped play music loud enough so you could hear it over the equipment (radio, speaker, aux cord) was mine, I told her if she didn’t like it don’t use it & she replied with I won’t use your shitty radio, speaker or cord. I called my boss who for years wouldn’t let anyone play music cause he thought it was distracting & told him about her behavior, I asked him to take everything away on her shift & her shift only. The next day my phone starts blowing up from the ignorant employee asking where everything is & I said in the most Condescending tone “I thought you weren’t gonna use my shitty stuff” she says I’m not I just wanna know where it is, I maniacally laugh & hang up. Needless to say she didn’t work there much longer after I took everything away from her. The one thing I never understood was why treat me like shit when I’m the one who supplies everything & also when I went out of my way to leave an aux cord so she (& other employees) could still listen to whatever they wanted while I was gone? Like bitch it’s my stuff, just because I’m not there doesn’t mean I can’t make it disappear. 😈🤣 Thanks for reading! ❤️

I bet he was the one taking all the money out of the tip jar as well, and on top of using all the coffee supplies without restocking it himself it makes him an even bigger thief. That's why you should always make sure to gather evidence as soon as you notice someone starting to use your personal property without compensation. In this case, set up a camera to film who's using the coffee maker if at all possible, collect audio recording of every accusation, make a list of the supply stock and the tipped money with timestamps etc. Then just go to HR with all the evidence before the bully does.

Dear Mr. rSLASH, We really appreciate the videos you post everyday. We love how you try really hard to meet our expectations and make good and funny content. But we hope that you don't forget to take care of yourself and your health. I am somewhat worried that you don't have enough sleep, don't have enough time for yourself, etc. I hope that you'd read this, because a day off isn't all that bad. Maybe days off. Well, I am just concerned about how you post everyday because (I think) it is hard to find good stories for good content. Just to let you know, rest is important. 😊😊😊 From your somewhat weird 😂 subscriber, Stryvor ✌️😊

This was back in the days on landline phones. My ex wife and I were living in an apartment. I worked nights. She was upstairs asleep. She woke when she heard a voice downstairs. She went down and discovered the landlord's daughter in our apartment making a call on our phone. She had a key and she had just let herself in. This same landlord rented the apartment next door to a group of students from India, telling them the apartment was empty and furnished. It was neither. They showed up as the old tenants were moving out, and they thought that some random people were stealing their furniture. There was shouting and the police were called.

My wife worked overnight shift for a big box store. She brought her own coffee in and kept it in her locker. She brewed a regular pot and another pot of her coffee. A warning was issued to everyone: Stockers, maintenance, and management alike, to not touch her pot until it had completely brewed and she had gotten her first cup! There is a fresh pot of the stores coffee on the top burner!

The coffee maker story is completely bogus and unfeasible... The OP claims to _"fix machines"_ , therefore he works at either a factory or a manufacturing plant. In those places, there's *HEAVY* tools and appliances' inventory controls. Everything is labeled and serialized to prevent theft and encourage responsibility. The moment OP took his coffee maker home, he could have shut Saul up easily without the thing ever reaching Bob simply by telling him to check with the warehouse manager if a coffee maker was indeed part of that area. Immediate answer would be a resounding *NOPE* and instant *Shut up choosing beggar* to Saul.

There is no record of the office buying the coffee maker so the OP could not possibly be charged with the theft of something that A) he bought and brought from home, and B) that the company cant prove is owned by the company.

This subreddit really reminds me how good I have it. My employer supplies each department with a good coffee maker as well as supplemental supplies as needed. In my particular Department we really like good coffee. So our manager buys good coffee beans, and I Supply a good coffee grinder. Other true coffee lovers in the building know who has the good coffee. And we welcome them to share. From actual experience, I can tell people that it is not difficult to have great coffee and regular nice snacks when everyone freely contributes. Also, the only things I have to label that I keep in the fridge? The things I want people to take a share of! I drink my coffee black but since the company only supplies powdered coffee creamer and I know several people enjoy liquid, I regularly buy a carton of half-and-half and mark it "help yourself". I know our team is unbelievably lucky! But it's just so easy!

the story with the landlord getting cornered by the dog made me think of my sister's old dog, Rex. Rex was a fat, lazy, dumb, akita chow mix. he was the bestest of boys. very sweet. just also fat, dumb, and lazy. complete opposite of his sister, but she's not a part of this story. so, one day my sister is home by herself (she was about 23 at the time, i think), and was in the shower. she comes out of the bathroom and finds that Rex, who can't be bothered to get up unless you have treats, has cornered a strange man by the front door. fur all bristled, teeth out, and nothing but growls from one of the sweetest dogs i've ever known. guy, who was scared shitless, claimed to be the postman, and said he heard someone say "come in" when he knocked to deliver a package. my sister screamed for him to get out, and he ran off. she called the post office to complain once she had calmed down, but they informed her that the postal worker on our route was a woman. police got called, and a report made, but we never found out if they caught the person. PO provided PD with gps info of their trucks, showing none were within two blocks of us at the time this all happened.

I don't have a story but my oldest sister does. Some things might be incorrect because it's been a while. Setting [Highschool] My sister used to do hours at this one place, without getting paid. One day, when she was working there, a Karen came in 《said she had the haircut and everthing》soooooooo Karen buys a 12~20 dollar drink. About an hour later Karen comes back. I can't remember everything my oldest sister told me but apparently Karen wanted a refill which would be about 15 dollars. Which was "ToO mUcH!" Yet had no problem buying a $20 drink. Karen: " This is so unacceptable! Let me speak with your manager!" My sister: " I don't control the prices but I ca-" Karen: "Whatever, just refill my drink.." (Gives my older sister around $25 extra) She leaves before my sister can give her change back. So she came back happy because she got some cash. Or something like that, all I remember is that she bought a nice soft blanket.

I used to work in an office where we had a coffee supplies money jar. I drink a lot of coffee, so I regularly contributed. One day, the manager gave the team a lecture about whoever was being cheap and just contributing "pennies". Not just pennies, mind you. The whole range of coins. I raised my hand to speak, and I said, "I'm the one. I always put all my spare change in the coffee fund, in addition to whole dollars. If it's a problem I can stop. I just figured... money is money." Manager calmed down and apologized.

Hey OP. I hope when you decide to leave for greener pastures you take the coffee pot with you. From the last story: Hey OP I understand the pain of that. My mom also hated what became my wife. She did not like her at all. We eventually eloped (kinda). Her parents loved me so we went to the local Justice of the Peace and got married there with her parents as our witnesses. Her mom did not like the idea, but I told her she can be a part of it which I wanted or we will do it on our own having whoever was in the courtroom be our witnesses. She agreed and was happy for us. It wasn't until five years after my mom turned around and loved her as if she was her own. So, I do understand what you are saying.
