The divorced said it all when I filed and now it's officially over. He's miserable now with the crazy supply he chose. I definitely made the right choice for myself and kiddos. It took 12 sets of divorce papers he never sighed before the judge gave me the degree!
the heat check to see where you're at with them. To see if you are still mad or if you have gotten over what they have done. They think that overtime that you just forget about all the things they've done and be waiting for them with open arms

Yes, they will heat check. He married to someone else and still checks on me, I don't respond to emails, text, and don't answer restricted calls because I know its him. They love any kind of attention good or bad. I know its angers him when I don't respond.
What perplexes me is after all the transgressions they do to hurt you they have the nerve to come back but man they do. They do it like nothing ever happened and when you bring it up they gaslight you say it didn’t happen 🤨 it’s unreal
As long as they know they can keep you on a shelf, it helps them feel better. They're collectors. Like a good pair of shoes, as long as they know they're still in the closet, it satisfies them. But if they go missing, they're an emotional wreck, even if there's other shoes in the closet that they can wear.

I wasnt dating this guy but he was clingy AF... I had no reason to think anything bad but I noticed how my body reacted when he was around me. I felt drained AF by this guy and he ended up moving 6 blocks from my house... Hes been trying to get with me and I'm energetically repulsed. So, I dont even want to be his friend. I just blocked him on everything... Quite frankly im creeped out. I've had multiple horrible relationships with these types. My greatest lesson I learned was letting go... So the red flags presented to me were enough to avoid a disaster.. Thank God for this information. ❤💙 I know this stuff but it's always good to reaffirm what I'm feeling is right.
Truth!! Happened to me 2 weeks ago. I dated a narcissist at my job and went 5 weeks no contact until she randomly decided to work in the area I was in the warehouse doing the same exact thing saying "Hey, you wasn't here yet so I decided to take over until you got here." Lol in my head I was like yo you ain't slick I'm hip on ALL the Hoover tactics. Then 3 days go by she works in the same area with and tells me out of NOWHERE how happy she is with her new man and how better he is compared to me......my reaction: I AM SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!! IF YOU'RE HAPPY THEN DAMMIT IM HAPPIER!!! She gaslighted me saying "You don't have to be so immature about it just be a man". I walked off. Boooaaayyy that blew up in her face so bad because I'm healed, genuinely happy and so powerful over the nonsense so I'm like hey that's that man demon, not mines!! As of now she still tries different ways. People if you let these demons heat check you, they will go back into their evil insidious ways and cold turkey towards you which will hurt you again if you're strong enough. It's all a "This source I'm with is growing thin soooo let me see if such and such is still on the shelf for me." They check and see and if you're still there, it's like oh okay just making sure just in case I need you again. Be strong everyone. Congratulations on your book big dawg Quinn! Keep it up! When you know they are a narc, just do yourself a favor and leave. Go no contact completely. Block them in every way. If they stalk/harass you, then get law enforcement involved. They do not take it seriously when you have moved on. I learned this firsthand. He thought it was a game for sure. I have used the law for over a year now to enforce my boundaries. Still dealing with court stuff with him. This is how delusional and crazy they can be when they don't want to lose you. I even had to move to a new place to get away from him and out of his line of fire/punishment. Just leave and move on with your life, and stay away from narcs.

My goodness, the Narc I married hit me with all the heat checks. I had no idea, but I felt like he was purposefully leaving things at my house and making every attempt to come back just to get them & we reconnected every time. I clearly recognized those failed attempts and decided to reject him and moved on. He showed up almost 2 years later and of course I've successfully and happily moved forward..... #blessed I never regret anything, but I truly regret ever meeting him & falling for him overall. Wishing myself nothing but the best and continuous happiness

Narcissism has changed the course of my life as it has yours and congratulations on your book. I'm writing a book too. I went back to college to get my degree in Psychology and investigative journalism. These people traumatize your life in such a way that it's a game-changer and it's an Awakening. When I discovered the sexual deviance and crimes my boyfriend's we're doing and the things they were doing to me behind my back it was a devastating Awakening. My husband of 25 years was narcissistic in his abuse but I thank these people because they helped me realize I'm an empathic sensitive and I can make a difference with my pain by helping others. thank you for the video. as a side note narcissism is colorblind and it effects every modern society regardless of circumstance or background and I love that we can come together in these forums and discuss our mutual horror that affects us all in the world. All I can say is that I wished I was knowledgeable and wise in my 20s when I interacted with my first narcissist. Unfortunately, I fell for the heat-check and made a lot of mistakes. That was over 20 years ago. Now as a grown woman, I met some much older narcs who play the same exact games. This time...I walked away. Yes, they really tried to reel me in, but these videos helped me let go of hope and walk away. Thanks so much for these videos. And after 20 years later, the first narc heat checked me to see if I want to play the same stupid games. I said hell to the no. Amazing. I look forward to reading your book.
Congratulations on your book! There is always a punishment when you take back the narcissist. They are punishing you for being strong enough to leave them in the first place. Each time the cycle repeats the abuse gets worse. They figure that since you already know what they are about, that you deserve the abuse that they are going to inflict on you.

Three years later, he is still heat checking me after dating for only 6 months (of hell)! Heat check level 3 all day. Here’s a lifetime movie for you… When I finally broke it off for the final time he robbed my house and then called the same day, “just to say hi” when I told him what happened he begged to come over and comfort me, go shopping with me for an alarm, bring me dinner, to which I said no. When that didn’t work he started coming into my home when I was at work, moving things around and taking things. He stole my prized NFL jersey, debit card a couple of credit cards, and like the idiot he is, tried to use my debit card in the city he lives in (he lives in the middle of nowhere...so obvious!) Thankfully his spending habits were so different than mine that his attempts were declined. He texted me minutes after I deactivated the stolen debit card, “just to say hi”. Dumb a**! I can’t stand him, just the thought of him disgusts me. I have thought about responding, “Why don’t you just leave me the f*** alone?!” but I know that if I respond in any way he will start blowing up my phone again so I continue to ignore him. Now he texts, “I’m sorry you don’t respond anymore.” #boybye
This is EXACTLY what happen to me. Scary you are so spot on. Listening to you helps me staying in NC even in the moments I miss him like a drug addict missing their beloved drug that finally are gonna kill them. He even wrote me those exact words ”I had a dream about you...” I will allways miss him but what I miss is my dream of him, not the true him. The true him was destroying me and my whole life. Yes I care. I will allways care. But he misstrieated me way too bad. But can you ever totally move on after narc abuse? Or do you just learn to live with the craving like a drugfree drug addict? im 1 year NC and ive been working so hard on myself - ive done ego work, shadow work, inner child work, all the work! each time i focus and invest in myself the door closes a little bit more and now its finally bolted shut. i ran into my narcissistic psychopath ex the other day, he looks terrible! 30 but looking 50. i guess hes on the prowl for narc supply but its just not easy to obtain it. karma doesnt happen magically one day, it already happened. its him hating himself everyday, self destructing and battling with constant boredom and loneliness and pushing everyone away including grade A supply. this is his karma.

I could actually predict what the exnarcband would do next, based on my reactions to their bs. When you don't react like you used to no matter what they do, you win in their opinion. And they cannot have that. No contact is the best way if possible to stop the neverending games.

Perfect timing. I literally have just received a voice message (strange because I blocked) from my step dad who I went no contact with. And my son has given me the ultimatum to apologise or no relationship .. I've come a long long way in my healing, these ultimatums do not control me anymore .. I'm getting on with life and wont be looking back or devaluing myself. I've nothing to apologise for, when the injustice was on me and was shown such a lack of regard and a complete disowning of me for my standing up for myself. I will NOT do this!
