Men should not play games like this. They should maintain their moral standards. A girl can accept him or not. I realised long ago that I could either maintain my high moral standards, or try to get a girlfriend. Not both. And I have chosen the former without ever looking back. I wonder if we're talking about several layers, here. Let me compare it to what I've learned as a father of three. With kids, they are the most enjoyable to be around when you give them the _right kind_ of attention. But the truth is, they would rather have _many_ kinds of attention than the absence of ._any_ attention. They're constantly doing things and then looking towards you to see if you're noticing. If you ignore them and give your attention elsewhere, they will start trying lots of things to get your attention back. At an immature and ignorant level, when they feel your attention slipping away, they'll do destructive or stupid things in order to get you to re-engage in the relationship. I never understood this, but once I did it made so much sense. They'd rather receive HARSH CRITICISM that has some connection to the truth than be ignored. If you don't reward bad behavior with attention, they start figuring out that there is an actual way for them to behave that is good for them AND good for you. You have to learn how to lovingly but very firmly inform them, "This behavior sucks, I don't like it when you behave this way. If you want my attention, or the attention of any good teachers, friends, or love interest, try this behavior instead." Then when they do take specific positive steps forward, you praise them very specifically for the behavior. Endlessly telling them that whatever they do is their best, saying "good job!" when they are not doing a good job... children detect empty praise as much as they detect dismissive contempt. And I think that at least with dismissive contempt, they might stumble upon the proper behavior and find themselves rewarded for it. All this to say: yes, it works to show your woman that you have value when you can attract other women. But in my current relationship, things are going even better because I'm very clear with my partner what I like, what I don't like, and she is feeling more and more like she's capable of learning how to completely ring my bell. I'm still a mystery to her and she loves experimenting on me with _positive_ behaviors. I am not harsh with her when she fails but I am clear with what she could do better. In my previous relationships, I never brought any attention to poor behavior. This made them sitting ducks for other men who WERE willing to give her a bit of discipline (i.e., corrective attention). The only correction I might have was too harsh because I didn't know how to calmly enjoy my life, creating a campfire of happiness without her, so that she felt cold outside and wanted back in. And the right way back in is figuring out what makes me happy. It's really that simple. My conclusion is that yes, giving attention to other girls and disengaging WILL spark a woman's competitiveness if she feels highly enough about you in other areas. But, I've found the superior way is being very willing to be CLEAR (not HARSH) about when she does things you don't like, and leading her with bread crumbs to the kind of behavior you do like. Society needs more men who are willing to do this with women. It's a huge reason why we are suffering because women are running amok and the men are either too harsh and dominate her in a hurtful way, or they're too passive and they put up with truly terrible behavior because they have no self-respect.

The attention a woman got from that man need to be deserved first. Giving too much attention to an unknown woman, that could be a b-tch, proves your needy lower status. But once this attention is deserved and proportionate to her proven qualities, then it is ok.

There is some truth in it. But i think there is another idea that helps. A higher status man invites a owman to join his life and he is not making to much changes just for her. She can by it or leave. A lower status man "joins" her life. He is changing his life style for her. He makes the big sacrifices. He bends to her will. Woman see if you will serve her or she has more or less to serve you or "fight" for any litle change you do for her. For axample do the turn to you when you speak or are you turning towards them. etc..There is alot we unkowingly use to determin the staus of people.

My experience and that of other men I know is that if you display to a woman you have boundaries, it drives them away before dating, either immediately after an explosive tantrum or over a few days after a sulk. They're attracted to men with weak or no boundaries and they assume it of all men - because that's all they've experienced, right - until they discover someone like me who looks to be the first to have asserted himself calmly but firmly. There are three women I know who aren't like this, but they're in a tiny minority. They pick up quickly what my boundaries are and have respected them over several years and I don't need to remind them. But other than that, yes, I agree that the pushing continues into the relationship and nearly all men fail because nearly all men have been trampled all over.

Rollo Tomassi has said many, many times: we are ALL feminist, whether we know it or not. Every man, woman and child! it will take a herculean effort to do so, but unless we want to all live through the worst of female nature (because the pendulum is always pushed to the extremes; it can never simply exist in balance), we all best start pushing against it. My only idea to share is: Use critical thinking to pick apart what they claim. Most women understand things emotionally, and I doubt this will solve it. This other claim is partly true and partly isn't. That claim is nonsense. Etc. That sort of person should then pave the way for a younger person to engage their own critical thinking and start to look at the world around them in a less naive and more cautious manner.

I started college at 23… after 4 years in the Navy. I really didn’t have much interest in the women in most of my entry level classes… they seemed so young and naive. I met a grad student 3 years my senior and married her about a year later. As soon as I started wearing a wedding ring it seemed like EVERY hot woman in my classes sat next to me and initiated conversations and several outrageously flirted with me. I loved the attention but stayed true to my awesome wife… it was strange to get so much attention from the hottest women. The problem is that because of online apps today's women have too many "perceived" options and simps blowing smoke up their collective asses.
