I begining to belive that it's better then warm up or flexibility training , honestly my whole body joints gets open, love this channel please make more
Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying it and it is helping :) In case you are interested, I have just created an online running course with lots of drills for beginners to improve their running: payhip.com/b/L5OUV 😀
I'm pretty sure that all of these movements are supposed to be opposite arm and leg... They are animals movements, not awkward movements, afterall... Anyway, I'm learnng so it's all good! 😅
I'm using the Animal Flow style from what I learnt. However, there is nothing wrong with doing opposite arm opposite leg. Even though I was teaching this specific style in the video, there is no rule in movement training :)
Very beautiful! ❤😊 I am an absolute beginner at AF, can you recommend an order to learn the moves?. Is it better to begin with the specific stretches or the movements?
Glad you enjoyed the video :D The best would be to start with a good wrist warm up (you can find in my Shorts video warm up for handstands). Then, the best would be learn the bear crawl position. Then the beast unload and wave unload. Really enjoyed this. You took your time, so it is easier for the viewer to follow along. That is a nice background setting, a good place to get peace of mind. I have watched these type of flow videos for weeks before trying. It looks a lot easier than it actually is, but that is down to the abilities of the tutor ( you ) lol. Thank you for the effort. I'm 55 years old now, if I don't use a walking stick 10 years from now, I will know who to thank 😊
Oh yeah and I’ve been really starting to get into the whole animal movements.. I stopped working out due to boredom and I have to say that getting on the floor and walking around like a gorilla… that’s just fun
This is actually my first time seeing anyone do animal flow with the same hand/foot when walking. Not that it really matters I guess. I’ve mostly been sitting down doing reps with SunChips :)
Try with the knee through first to build strength for the movement then when you’re ready you can try with leg through :) Watch my video tutorial on the side kick through that can help you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YLUCTcnlMkk.html
Yes definitely it is and you can work up to it with the easy variations and learning the basic moves. Feel free to email me on info@tishkfit.co.uk if you want further advice 😊
Good workout but pressups should be done slowly with the kettlebell under full control, not snapped up with the aid of the thighs. This cheating motion is less effective than using a lighter weight if necessary but doing the exercise less ballistically and with full control throughout the entire range of motion.
Thank you for your comment, the movement of this exercise is called a push jerk this is training power and is helping for Olympic weightlifting. Yes there is also the shoulder press which is a controlled movement but that wasn’t the aim of this exercise. However I should have written push jerk instead of shoulder press so it’s not misleading in the future. There’s 3 types of press movement: strict press (only using the shoulder), push press (using some leg power) and jerk (dropping under the weight usually done as a drill to improve power for Olympic weightlifting)
Thank you :) it can be done in different ways absolutely! This is the animal flow one so the movement is performed same hand same leg. But yeah opposite is easier indeed
