I’m one month out and my range of motion is getting better but still get a wicked sharp ache inside elbow with no real way to position arm for relief. Comes and goes. Such a slow healing process from all the other surgeries I’ve done. Mine was from years of motocross, ATV, Snowmobiles, and military service
Lovely and informative video indeed. I had a quick question though. I am taking the cruise soon with my family. Wondering if they allow you to fly drone without any permits. I have a DJI mini pro 4 which is below 250g and not commercial. Thanks!
Yeah you will have no issues flying your drone around the island as a nonprofessional. You can find out more info online or at this link… also there are maps online that show you places you can and can’t fly your drone. www.gov.bm/small-unmanned-aircraft
This is very true. According to www.express.co.uk “Bermuda was crowned the most expensive country in the world, according to Numbeo's Cost of Living Index, ranking highest in almost every category.” Bermuda quite expensive to live.
I'm 75 and I had the surgery on my left elbow about 3 weeks ago. I am retired and don't do heavy lifting or play sports but I am still active. I swim daily and work in my yard regularly all of which I could do 2 weeks after surgery without pain or discomfort. I never had physical therapy and haven't felt the need for it. My elbow is a bit sensitive but no pain. I also had carpal tunnel surgery on the same arm on the same day as the cubital surgery. This all happened a few weeks after having carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I don't have any more numbness, pain or tingling in my hands at all. The elbow was more intense than the carpal tunnel but most of the discomfort was in the first day or two. After that, no big deal. Anyone who needs these surgeries should get them. Don't put it off until you have severe symptoms. Good luck!
I was nervous too. Especially when I laid down in the operating room and the doctor grabbed my arm and started drawing on me with a purple marker BUT when they administered the “gas” I was good! Out like a light! And you will be too! They gave me opioids after the procedure. As long as you stay on those until you run out, you won’t really feel a thing. Sleeping was a tad difficult at times but in terms of pain… on a scale of one to ten, I was closer to a one/two. Not bad. Just make sure you always take your medicine on time! You got this!
@@Shaun619 not gonna lie. I didn’t do any scraping to reduce the size of the scar. I thought the scar was kinda cool so I just left it to heal. The healing process was easy. I just chilled. Just don’t try to straighten your arm too soon! Keep it in the sling for as long as the doctor recommends so the nerve can set properly. If you try to straighten your arm to soon… you’re gonna feel a jolt ⚡️ of pain run through you. Haha 🤣 not fun! Don’t recommend! Other than that just chill, read books, watch moves, drink protein shakes, pop multi vitamins and keep it pushing brotha! 💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏾
Brother I am 18 years old and I am sufferfing cubital tunnel syndrome aka ulnar nerve entrapment from past 4 years and I cannot do a single pushup even if i try to do elbow pain is like hell and i want to build body what can i do doctor says there no treatment only surgery can done but he said let's not go surgery but he given some nerve pills and pain oil for that and i know it is temporary what should i do ? 😓😓😓
Dang that first clip got me! Thought this would be the video where you were going to get your first one haha. Awesome to hear you review the history of something like this and relate it back to the island as well as the shop. Really great overview of the services and their work. Such an interesting experience to be able to do the tattooing yourself. Doesn't look too bad! Hilarious that they said they were stressed hahaha. Excited to see what you end up doing for yours!
Your workouts are interesting and inspiring. I am 63 years old. My workouts are not as intense , but your videos are encouraging to me to be my best. Thanks for the positivity!
Just had the surgery in both arms. Did the left arm first then the right arm 5 weeks later. I’m two weeks into the recovery of my right arm and so far so good. But I’m right arm dominant so it’s been hard having to consciously use my left arm to allow the right to heal, but I’m managing
please pray for me I got my surgery last year and I’m really skinny so I wanted to work out. For 8 months after the surgery I was fine and gained a little bit of muscle but one day it just started hurting again. I don’t know if I overdid it but can I still rehabilitate it more if I didn’t enough right after surgery? I might have to quit basketball and I really don’t want to
Yo! Thank you for this! Im having this surgery on June 10th! Honestly... im petrified! But this made me feel MUCH better about it now! MUCH appreciated!!!! Im gonna post a video about it too. Question for ya: Did you do or did the doc offer physical therapy? If so, howd it go? Again... thank you for this! GREAT video! Best wishes!
Bro your 15yr old pixelstew video of some Final-Fantasy-ahh-looking stuff is cringe. The music choice is totally fitting the context of the video and it's a damn iconic song too.
This comment made me laugh so hard. You got it!! Just start small and over the years you’ll build up to heavier and heavier weight! I’m rooting for you!!
I've busted both my elbows by doing way too many push ups at 15, and got this ulnar nerve snapping everytime I bend my elbows with minimal resistance now. No way I'm going through this twice though
