30 min Complete Yoga Practice for Shoulders: Strength and Flexibility

This 30 min complete yoga practice is entirely focused on exercises for shoulders. It will include targeted warmup, strengthening exercises and my favorite stretches for shoulders. When repeated on a consistent basis this practice will help you release upper back tension, improve your posture and gain strength. At the end of this practice you will notice lightness in your upper body, openness through the chest, space across collarbones and a feeling of peace and tranquility. All thanks to simple yoga stretches and movements focused on upper back and shoulders.
This 30 minute yoga flow for all levels will be perfect for those who experience tension due to work conditions, tight muscles and lack of movement and stretching. This practice will help you improve your backbends and arm balances. At the end of this practice you will feel more relaxed, at ease in your own body and all the stress and worries will seem to fade away.
All the exercises are simple and effective, accessible to practitioners of all levels.
You can add this stretching routine into your regular practice (let’s say before backbend flow or in combination with core exercises) or you can follow it as a separate practice after a long work day. The effect will be immediate. Good posture makes us feel confident and shoulders play an important role. 30 minutes can change how you feel so do not deny yourself an opportunity to feel good.
Remember that our health depends on daily movement and physical exercise. So try to include a few simple stretches into your daily schedule. Repeat this 30 min yoga practice with a focus on shoulders as often as it feels necessary for your body and overall physical and emotional state.
Get comfy, get ready and as you begin on this beautiful journey take it slow, listen to your own body and be patient.

Obsessed, I get trigger point injections in my back due to chronic pain and built up muscle tissue thats incredibly tight. Every day I wake up with immense back pain. hi Marina, I been having trouble with my shoulders…been going to physio and still not better so I thought I would look to see if you had shoulder video….of course you did!! ❤️ Thank you so much…felt good! Hello Nicole !! I am sorry to hear about shoulder pain ... I hope it is nothing serious and it will go away soon. If it is not a serious injury - I believe that a good posture and stronger back muscles keep our shoulders safe. So take it easy for now and then ask your physio which areas you need to strengthen more ! Much love !

This is such a good shoulder flow!!!!!! Really focus on the shoulder engagement and also lots of awareness throughout the shoulder blade and even triceps!!!! It is also a very good heart opening and leg flow, felt so open and ready for your next backbend flow!!! Love it!! The difference between the down dog in the beginning and the end is superb, I also did your hamstring stretches after the backbend flow and my down dog felt the best and so grounded!! Thanks Marina!!!!
