Cannon vs. Santa

Today we're risking a lifetime ban from the nice list by shooting Santa Claus with a black powder cannon. We've got a few blowup Santa decorations just incase they pop, so lets see how sturdy they really are! First we're going to start out with some Christmas themed projectiles and them move on to the lead projectiles. Will Santa survive?

Heart shot with the cannonball. Grapeshot with musket balls. Yeah. Santa probably won't give you coal either.

Great video Jonathan. The bbs were brutal, here's to more bb shots. I'm sure others have mentioned it, but layers of plywood or other milled wood products vs cannonball and various sized shot would be neat. Washing machines, dryers or refrigerators might be cool too, especially with various shot sizes. Have a great Christmas and New Year.

I have a suggestion. Check with local grocery stores to find out what they do with their outdated frozen turkeys. If you can get them reasonably, they would make good reusable targets for possibly 2 to 3 shots each turkey.

What effectiveness would a front large crosshair site do for accuracy? Sorta like a car hood ornament...? Since you're not shooting exploding cannonballs would it do anything to help?

We’re actually working on adding a rail to it so we can put a red dot on it! Haha.
