Counter push ups are an interesting variation. When I tried them on my kitchen counters (some kind of stone material) it hurt my hands, so not sure how it will work for me. Any suggestions?

You can try to wear gloves, biking gloves are the best. Also someone suggested using silicone hot pads you might have in your kitchen. I understand that some counter edges are very hard, even sharp! Good luck!

@@ForeverYogawithSusannah Thanks! My personal trainer had me do modified pushups today on one of those large firm foam cubes they have in many gyms. I'll try some other things, too.

Thank you for sharing, unfortunately when I do pushups I end up with very painful wrists. 😏

Perhaps you can find relief by focusing on wrist strength and mobility and see if that helps. It will take some time. So so do your wrist work out everyday and just a few push ups per day as your wrists adapt. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pvb8XBU5Ml4.htmlfeature=shared
