How to speak without actually saying anything. That's an advanced skill. "I take complete ownership over what happened with the Dead Cells review. There were a lot of circumstances surrounding it, but at the end of the day, I was the editorial lead on it, so, if anything, that makes it my responsibility". My college courses taught me that even if it was an accident that your essay looked like someone else’s, there should be no excuse for when the day that comes when you turned it in and you get caught. There are DOZENS of resources available to check your work to see if it looks copied. The fact that such a big journalist like him doesn’t even use checks astounds me.

Aside said elsewhere, not admitting fault is in most if not all managerial handbooks in some form. He isn't admitting guilt or fault, only taking responsibility, which is something in is only also only doing begrudgingly, but still placing 100% fault on him.
