Hey Richard! You are a smart man for doing that. Part of me said protect, the other part said, they are shade. Well, shade kills!! I agree on protecting the investment! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hey Cherry 🍒 Man!! Hope all is well my friend. Great to hear from you. I am so looking to getting back in the swing of things. I miss watching everyone’s videos and that includes you! Thanks for watching and take care! WST
Hey Mike, glad to see you made it through the wind storm with minor damage. We also lost power; but, only for 15 hours. Awesome job felling that tree by the wood boiler, @ 6:00, love when a tree falls to plan! Keep up the good work. Best, David & Rachel from CFS
Hi David & Rachel! I hope all is well in your part of the woods. I am extremely happy that there was no damage to the house or any other structures. Sounds like you got by unscathed also. I always get excited when a tree goes where it is supposed to. You could probably tell by my little fist pump! LOL! I have some video catch up to do and you are on my list, along with Ed. Take care and thank you for your support! I appreciate you! WST
Eskimo Don! Hope all is well in your parts. I bet you saw some wind down there. Thanks for watching and have no fear that I won’t enjoy some time off. Take care my friend! WST
Glad you and your family are safe! It was a heck of a storm, we were out of power for about 16 hours (generator worked perfectly along with the wood boiler). Hats off to the power crews for getting powered restored to the area so quickly! Also, I echo your sentiments with regard to the massive storms that hit our friends down south. Certainly sending prayers their way! Ed
Hi Ed!! I figured you would have experienced the power outage also. Consumers said over 400,000 customers across northern Michigan were without power. I, just like you, am very happy to have the generator!! Especially, with have the wood boiler! I really felt terrible about the people in the south. I really didn't have the words to reflect how I felt about their situation. It is horrible and to be around the holiday season. Thank you for watching as always. I really appreciate you! I have a lot of videos to catch up on. I will be catching up on yours and Rachel & David's. Take care my friend! WST
Hey Woody! That was my best drop of the year. Everything was as perfect as I could have done. Come to think of it, it had to be! If not, it could have been the boiler, the woodshed, the house or all of the above!! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Morning Mike glad to see your off the road for the holidays! Nice job clearing the problem trees always from the house! Totally jealous of camp WST!! 👍🏻👍🏻🐿
Hey Todd! Feels great to be home! If it wasn’t for Husqvarna, all those trees would have hit the house!! 🤣🤣 I’m just glad there was no damage, period. You should come see Camp WST someday. You will be completely disappointed 😂 Thanks for watching as always my friend! WST
@@WSTMike Sounds good! I will bring my STIHL along and waive it around like a light saber And all the rest of the trees around your house will throw their selves on the ground out of fear!😆🐿
Hi Larry! Hope all is well on your end. I agree on getting things down before they become a problem. I just did a good job of dragging my feet. Anyway, all is well and we live to fight another day. Appreciate you watching as always my friend. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
Hi Chris! I appreciate you watching and thinking I’m a pro 🤣 I’m very happy every time something goes right. I’ve had the alternative many time before. Take care my friend! WST
Mike nice job getting those trees down. You just never know exactly what each one will do. I cut a cherry the other day and it looked perfectly fine. Turned out to be hollow glad I took it down. Take care, Ben.
Hi Ben! Hope all is well. You are exactly right. You never know, but I guess it is at our discretion to make a decision that we feel is right. I always feel like a dodge a few bullets. Thanks for watching! WST
Man, that’s a good looking coat your wearing! I like it. Looks like a good Sunday go ta meetin coat to me! Didn’t I send you back that snazzy cutting coat? Saw sounding good! Chain sharp? Lotta dust! Take care WST!
Hey FM! Thanks for the comment on my Tommy Hilfiger work jacket…. 😆 It’s actually a Duluth Trading firehouse jacket. Super warm and durable. I’ve been using Duluth for awhile. Great stuff. Still have not got my cutting jacket for that Buschhhhhhh Lite swilling Illini guy yet. Lotta dust in the size of chips! I figured you would appreciate that DUST comment. Thanks for watching! WST
Mike, that kind of weird stuff always happens to me, I lost the nuts that connect the bar to a stihl chainsaw, no idea what happened, it wasnt even my saw, it was my neighbors so I started feeling extra horrible, the neighbor came over to see what was going on, I'm about to tell him the bad news when I kicked the ground and 2 nuts for his saw in a random spot went flying and landed almost perfectly onto a piece bark, stuff like that happens to me all the time. BTW that "slow moving sign" is just a license plate to do whatever you want on the main roads in NJ, I drive my tractor everywhere because of that sign lol.
Hi Kenny!! I was just in NJ this week. Right outside of Millville. That’s a crazy story on the bar nuts!! As for the slow moving sign, here in Michigan you can go anywhere you want also. That is funny it is the same there. My sign is extra special right now…. It saved my cap!!!!! Thanks for watching as always my friend. I appreciate you! WST
There is a lot to be said about being proactive. I had a giant cherry break in half and suspend over my road. I thought to myself what an idiot. It was compromised for a long time and if I just would have cut it crown then, I would have had more control of where it ended up. Another nice video.
Hi Harry P! Hope all is well. I hear what you are saying. I have decided after this last scare to get my head right and take care of what I think could be an issue. Control is better than variable. Thanks for watching as always! Take care my friend. WST
Hi Larry! Thank you for watching! It is always a good thing to have things go the way they are supposed to. Take care and Happy Holidays my friend! WST
Nice video, there is always that one that should have been taken care of but naww it will go a while yet. You need to buy a lottery ticket after finding that fuel cap like that
Heinzie!! Hope all is well! I feel like I dodge a bullet every time I get a second chance. This weekend was second chances. That fuel cap thing was crazy. Worked on the tractor 4-5 hours and put it away to find the fuel cap sitting there. NUTS!!! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hi Mike! Hope all is well. It wouldn’t surprise me on the mice. That tree also houses lots of squirrels. Lots of hollows trees around here. Take care my friend! WST
You know if you put a little red loctite on the diesel cap you wouldn't have forgotten it..🤣🤣 As for the saw all I seen was chips so dont know what dust you were referring to..🤔 3rd and most importantly glad you made it back home safely.. Aee you on the next one..😜👍
🤣🤣 I should have out the red loctite on the cap! The Dust comment was meant for another viewer that has a channel. He had a viewer say that if you see dust, the chain isn’t sharp. I was throwing chips, but you always see some dust. Thanks for the travel well wishes. Happy to be home! Take care my friend! WST
HAY MIKE NICE ACCIDENT PREVENTION VID, ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE & NOT SORRY... LOOKS LIKE YOU GOT A PRETTY GOOD HAUL OF WOOD IN THAT SESSION... LET ME ASK YA, WHAT'S A GOOD SIZE SAW FOR DOIN' THE CUTTIN' LIKE YOU DID TODAY??? SOMETHIN' THAT'S NOT A BEGINNER & NOT QUITE PRO EATHER... STAY COOL MIKE... PEACE...
Gringo, I would suggest something in the 60cc range, I have a ms361, it is light and easy to handle but still powerful enough for some big wood. Unless Mike has a better suggestion
Mr. Pines! How goes it my friend! Prevention is key, doing and executing is another. If I had someone tell me I get to keep one saw, I would take a 70cc range saw in two seconds. It does anything and everything for the most part. I love my 272 and 372. I appreciate you brother! Take care! WST
saving the property on any given day is a good thing!!!! regardless of the shoulda, coulda, woulda we all play looking back at the past. taking care of the trees that you did was the right time for you. WD30 OUT
Good one today. Looks like there won’t be a shortage of content this winter. Pretty soon you’ll get to 1k and you can start promoting things and producing paid promotional videos. Have you thought about what your first one will be your getting so close. Splitter, log grabber thing, power station, or maybe a fuel cap retention system lol. Yup well on my way to being blocked. Have a safe and fun day.
THE STAN 🤣🤣🤣 No shortage this winter and yes!! I do have my first paid promotion all lined up. I’m going with Vidal Sassoon and their V05 hot oil treatment. I don’t have a hair on my head, but if I did, it would be getting the Exxon Valdez treatment in a heartbeat! Blocked? Never! Thanks for watching my friend and keep puking with the girls! WST
