Exploring the spaces that society leaves behind whether it is a house that's been abandoned for 20 years, a large mansion that is about to be torn down or a greasy grimy factory, I explore it all. I began by photographing these places and have been doing so for years but have recently started filming them as well to complement the photography and create a feature rich experience.

What a great find!!!!! Old farm houses and barns are my favorite!!❤️. The wallpaper was beautiful!! I really liked the staircase❤️. So many things to look at and memories of my grandparents house was like!! They had one of those floor to ceiling lights. It had a really big kitchen!! That certainly was a spectacular staircase, from more recent videos, I have seen that the staircase railing has since been removed. 😟 Those floor to ceiling lights are some of my favourites too. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
18:20 So that slot in the back of the medicine cabinet was actually for disposal of used blades - the old kind that were sharpened on both sides. It was safer than putting them into the waste basket. If you ever remodel an old bathroom built in the first half of the twentieth century, you’ll find piles of old blades in the walls.
Ya, I actually learned that at some point after filming this video and remember seeing footage of the old rusty blades behind the wall. I can understand why it's not safe to put blades directly in the garbage like that but this can't be the best solution either. Appreciate you mentioning that little bit of information, I bet others have wondered as well!!
Loved you doing CPR on the baby 😂 you are funny. I prefer house's with stuff inside of who use to live there that was left behind. I thought this video was fine so whatever you do it's ok with me just giving my opinion. Always interesting why office buildings leave stuff like this , I guess they say we gone lol🙂

The wood staircase and floors were beautiful!! I really liked the lead glass windows too!! Glad they were still there❤️. It looked like it would have been a comfy house to live in. Some of those mirrors would have to go through 😂😂. A stripper pole😂😂🤣🤣 don’t think I want one of those’d in my kitchen😂😂. It was a great video and I really enjoyed it!!!! With the housing crisis in Toronto. Demolition shouldn't have been an option for this building. It could have been converted into low-cost rentals or immigrant housing. But Toronto doesn't work that way. 15:30, I would think Blockbuster Video was way more popular here in Canada Vs Rogers Video, since most people don't like Rogers. 17:50, I think this building is more 90s-2000s, not 70s-80s.
Well I mean it can be done but the land would still have to be purchased and then the building repurposed to do that, it would probably cost more than some that is purpose built for housing. Maybe Blockbuster was more popular, I'm not too sure but I felt the need to explain what Rogers video was for my American friends that likely hadn't heard of it. Then there was also Jumbo video, remember that one? I think the building dates back to the 60s and 70s maybe earlier, considering the art deco looking staircase. But looks like they had done some renovations over the years, maybe the 80s and 90s. Thank you very much for your comment!!
I get so angry at how horrible capitalisms brainwashes people into thinking everything has to be a newer style, so destroy the old one no matter what! Homes like this pristine, are selling for millions in where I live.
A lot of work, time and money went into this place. I can't see them demolishing the buildings unless there's severe animal infestation. Walls and Windows can be fixed fairly easily. All of the roofs and structures look good still, just a lot of clean up and repairs, to get back on track. It's unfortunate that most of it was destroyed, I wonder if it was for the insurance...
They may end up doing something with the property eventually, only time will tell. It could have been an insurance thing but I would be surprised...either way, it does sound like the fire could have been intentional. Thank you very much for your comment!!

I was watching this video and thinking this house has great wood in it!!!! I was thinking how nice the floors and the doors were then you went to the attic and found all that paperwork!! Wow!! I would have spent hours there just going through those!! Nice big rooms!!!! Beautiful stairs!!! Looked like oak wood❤ Then you went to the basement. That was bad!!!! Homeless people that sometimes occupy abandoned buildings do make a mess but they are not the only ones. Sometimes it's scrappers tearing out the copper, or kids breaking things or covering the building in graffiti. It is very unfortunate. Thank you very much for your comment!!
if I were there, I would be looking for the I.T and server room(s) I bet there were some really interesting Equipment in there, not to take mind you, but just look at it, unless I could get permission first.
These were individual businesses operating in a larger building, so they probably had their own server areas on a smaller scale than say a large factory. I think they probably took all that equipment with them. Thank you very much for your comment!!

I started this vid and totally couldn’t figure out what I was watching lol I had to look at the title again to get orientated lol I feel so dumb, this was so different. I really enjoyed this look see through abandoned office type building.

13:24: James it’s a game called Carrom - and that’s a Carrom Board, originally from India. The players flick a striker to pocket discs into corners of the board using their fingers. The goal is to pocket all your discs and the red "queen" before your opponent. It’s a game of skill and precision!

I wonder why they removed all the doors to the offices in the older part. I would totally recycle those stair bannisters! Interesting building for sure!
I think they were part way through the gutting process before the demolition started. With buildings like these, demolition companies often take the structure down to basically a shell, before the heavy machinery moves in. Agree with you though, that bannister was great! Interesting change of pace, really like the video. Do you have any clue what was kept in the big, cork-lined cooler rooms? Seems like such an odd addition to what looks like an otherwise normal office complex.
I'm really not too sure what the cooler room was used for, maybe it had something to do with the medical business? It was hard to figure out what each office was used for. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!

What an incredible explore! Such an array of things left behind. Sad to see what looked like someone's entire life in that one office. I liked this one just as much as I enjoy the houses.
Hi James! Interesting place and it’s interesting having a different type of location now and again. The stairway reminded me of an old hospital or something. Kinda almost looked art deco. Definitely retro anyway. It’s a shame so many old homes, businesses etc are having to make way for more affordable housing, especially when all these places being put up all look the same. Older neighbourhoods and businesses had their own style. A lot of them did anyway. A bar/restaurant in my town is up for redevelopment and I dread to think what’s going in its place. Thanks for the video. Appreciate every one of them.
