This was sooo satisfying to see!! The way she really took her time and scraped all the warts out is just amazing I am so happy for Glimmer and I know he’s happy too!! Makes my heart smile to see this knowing where he started…with both ears just FULL of extreme warts ughhh warts are sooo disgusting I hate them!! But again, I am just so happy for this horse that’s blessed with such good care!! 🐎💗
What I always used to cover an eye was a bra..lol I cut a hole so they could see, but the other side kept the meds in place. I lined it with a panty liner , then non stick gauze.) I just altered it to stay on..lol back eons ago..we didn't have fly mask.. but, lol any horse we had with a short tail id braid orange bailing twine in low , brush it out, to make tails for my horses ( draft, appaloosa, etc it looked weird but, it worked..they could swat flies
Is eye removal numbing like abscess numbing? They can't numb into the deep part until some of the debris is gone? Those lil girls are going to love their new friend, she s just so sweet.
I have been watching you work on the rescue videos and had an idea . Is it possible to create some vet or ferrier training clinics where schools can have students go to the shelter to learn and work? The shelters get the benefit of extra medical care and the schools train vets and do charity simultaneously . I’ll bet the schools would give money for the clinics for exposure . Plus seeing all of these mistreated animals may instill something in the next generations of vets to do charity work. Either way, Great job as always.
To me this was not interesting at all. Because you most of time film your self insted of what you are doing. When I see a video with some one doing anything, then what they are doing is what I will se. Its ok to show you self in the beginning but nog the whole time like a talkshow.
Such an informative post, so glad you don't blur out the action like so many do. I hope the butchers at the auctions who butchered that poor horse and caused it's intestines to fall out after attempting to geld him, HPHS had to buy him just to give him the last act of kindness to end his suffering after they literally butchered the poor horse buy trying to do the same operation that Dr Nancy has just performed so professionally.
Why do you not practice proper sterile procedures and use masks to prevent the spread of infection and to stop you from possibly getting biohazards in your mouth?
Nice surgery. She is going to have a dry face for the first time, maybe in her life. I'll say a prayer that she finds a happy home and spends peaceful years being loved.
The sound of the cutting clamp made me cringe. And I was definitely not expecting the cooking show. These videos are amazing and I appreciate how the animals welfare always comes first
3:41 As my favourite vet Enoch the cow vet calls it “A Willy Wash” 😂 😂 😂 Everyone should check out his videos I know you’ll love them and him of course. His humour is unmatched!!!

Haven't seen this type of thing before but I like that you have been working on it and then made the decision to thoroughly clean the ears so they can heal better, medication reach them, etc. Nice work.
It's amazing to see how well you communicate and how knowledgeable and skilled you are. Also to admit you had to look up something is admirable. Love from Austria!
