I'm suffering from this I have essential tremors. Need to be tested for Parkinsons yet. Very difficult to find a place to test it closer. Closest is 1.5 hours away.
How to replace SSRI's and Sleep meds for 5HTP? I have slowly tapering off for 20 years and no success. Have debilitating insomnia. Can I just abruptly replace them with 5HTP?
You need to look at the synthesis of these neurotransmitters. I have homozygous variant TPH2 which means my serotonin production is very low, but my TH gene is very fast. Taking 5htp here shouldn't need a boost of dopamine too, however, my DBH gene is also screwed which means my dopa to norep conversion is heavily impaired. I dont think taking more dopa is the answer here, as I also have fast MAOB, but perhaps a dopamine/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor would be better?
Was just diagnosed with COMT Met/Met and MTHFR, I’m really having a hard time understanding it all and this gave me a better idea. I’d love more information. I have debilitating symptoms, cyclic vomiting, I basically can’t function. My anxiety is unbearable
I think more people should understand this. Im 46 and have struggled my whole life with anxiety problems, and then starting in my 20's insomnia problems. I burned out over and over again because of work and life events. I feel lucky to be alive actually with what I've been through. I got the Methylation test done recently and I have the COMT mutation. So it explains my struggles. I will watch some more of your videos, thanks 👍.
Eggs i found can help with brain fog , lentils too , chamge up diet experiment with different foods , b12 vut d vit c zinc and other b vit helps too , if you stop eating junk processed foods you will find it helps too , it does take time , thank you for this video❤
I hope you can answer me question. I want to use 5htp to help with my depression. But i am scared of side effects like the life threatening eosinophilia myalgia syndrome. Is it safe to take? Will it harm me on the short term?
EMS occurred because of contaminated l-tryptophan. 5htp is different from l-tryptophan and products are tested for the contaminant now days anyway, so there's no risk.

Thank you so much for this extremely informative video. I'm 44 and the past few months the rage has been outrageous the week before my period. The rage comes with these gnarly migraines. I generally take 800mg of standard chaste tree at night but the week prior ive noticed that if I get a migraine during the day,if I take 400mg of chaste tree, it elevated the migraine and calmed me down,but that means I'm taking 1200mg of chaste tree during thaose days. Is that too high? I really really appreciate you so much, you are truly helping us❤.
Dosages with Chasteberry are difficult to be honest because they vary depending on the brand/formulation/production. Maybe send an email through my website with a photo of the product and I'll see if I can help
What could be a possible explanation then to why my sister only slept 5 nights in a row when taking 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-htp) and stopped sleeping if it’s not the fact she didn’t take L-tyrosine?y thought is since 5-Hydroxytryptophan end result is melatonin, taking only it can cause a melatonin overdose which can cause insomnia, and L-tyrosine would balance that out.

Thanks for all information. Can you tell us which form of Omega-3 Fatty Acids we have to use? My opinion is EE form. But EE form has less bioavailability than TG forms. What is your offer and why?
Try Lemon Balm tea for anxiety and relaxation. Also Magnesium supplements have really helped. Do some reading and see what you think.. Also read up about vitamin D3 w/ vitamin K.. Blessings to all..
Took the recommendation for the dose on the bottle and after a couple days I went into a terrible dissociative state which lasted for 3 days. I was having weird fears and I was scared I was going Psychotic. Never again... My antidepressant and Cannabis has NEVER made me feel like 5-HTP did..

You diagnostics correct but Im sorry you didn’t get the reason why those things are happening to her. I know because it happened to me and I know exactly what it is.
I took HTP three nights; about 50 mg and got really bad headaches. Did not feel good the next day. Melatonin does same thing to me and makes me tired the next day, even 1mg. I think some people are just sensitive too these, not sure why? I have been taking Theanine for 2 nights and this might be more my thing. Relaxes me so I can sleep. I feel just a little relaxed with Theanine the next day but will cut dose in half and see if that helps.
