I make videos about the books I read, and the thoughts I have about them.

Thanks for this great tutorial. However, I cannot see the option 'Display cover' after clicking 'device option'. Do you know how to get to that option?
Hi Micah, before you give out spoiler info about any book you really should give a warning. I was just about to read this book, no I'm really disappointed to know so much about the content.
I'm new to history books, and I've bought all these three books that you recommended. Could you please make a video about the best books of American History? Thanks bruh
I enjoyed this video! Did you all continue with Classics & Company? It's mentioned in this video that you planned on continuing but I cant find any new videos? 🙏
Thanks! This video was very helpful! Although what does it mean when they remove any special offers? Cause I had 3 months free of the Kindle unlimited with my new paper white! Does it mean I still have that or no?
Just finished the series. Thank you for doing this review. Jude the Obscure was one of the only books I read in high school that made an impression on me. It’s interesting to look back 20 yrs later and see how this book may have influenced my life in ways. Or even just to see why It may have resonated so much with my younger self. I’ll have to read it again at some point but until then this was the perfect way to revisit the book.
I read The Europeans, by Orlando Figes as well, and I found this author’s style very readable in a book deeply informative about a fascinating period of Europe’s history. A great author who is also a expert in Russia’s history.
I read a biography on john adams and loved it as well. I bought the letters from him jefferson and adams wife in a book form. They had such interesting relationships
Welcome back Micah! Did you know that Page Smith wrote a multi-volume history of the US. I own most of these and am about to take them to a thrift shop. Reply if they are of any interest to you.
👋🏻Hey! (newbie 🤭) Yes.. I was wondering. I stumbled on your Intro/Invitation video for Les Mis & decided to join in for a first time read. Glad you’re back! We should all learn to celebrate our growth as a reader(s). So, no hurry. No worries. 💞
Hey. It's nice to see you again. Don't worry about the details. We're just glad to see you when you can film. A John Adams biography eh? How does the older biography compare to the newer one?
Real life always comes before social media! I was very sporadic with videos in March, and had to shoot several in blocks for later editing and uploading, because my primary commitment was researching, writing, and editing my March and April blog posts for both of my blogs. Every year, I do something called the Blogging from A to Z April challenge, which means 26 blog posts for my chosen theme. In March, I was also doing blog posts about Roger Daltrey's solo albums in honor of his 80th birthday. Sometimes it's nice to take a step back from videos to just focus on other things.
Thank you! Isn’t it incredible? This is my second time reading it. I read it for the first time time last year and absolutely loved it! I’m excited to experience it again.
@@MicahCummins I'm hoping to read it for the third time later this year. The characters and themes are wonderful! There is so much compassion in Hugo's writing that makes it such a heartbreaking experience.
The problem for the curious is that everything leads to everything else. I have been reading and enjoying Simon Scarrow's The Wellington and Napoleon Quartet (currently on book three) which naturally leads to A New World Begins: The History of the French Revolution which of course dovetails nicely with Les Miserables and if I manage to get through all of these this month I still have The Count of Monte Cristo sitting unread on the shelf which would also fit the theme nicely. I better go read. 😉
Welcome back Micah!! You were definitely missed! Congratulations on your slower reading trend, I’m glad you are enjoying it, after all that’s the whole point of reading besides learning. Awesome video once again and great content. Looking forward to seeing more. Peace, good health and happiness to you.
Thank you so much! 🙂 I greatly appreciate your kind words. I’m definitely going to have to figure out how the slow reading fits in with filming videos, I don’t wanna bore people with the same titles week after week, but I really am absolutely loving my reading now that I’m going slower!
I have no doubt you will figure it out. You are a natural at doing this and I personally think you reviewing a book over the course of 2 or 3 weeks of reading it is perfectly acceptable. Change can be challenging but I think you’re up for it! 👍👍
There are actually 3 versions of movies of this book The 1998Film Is the most popular in my opinion and it's online You just need to search it on youtube And I had a feeling you don't watch the movie because you pronounced the name wrong.
Hello guys. I just got Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen. For those who will do this also, the Display Cover is under Screen and Brightness tab. Happy reading everyone! 🎉
