the definition of sin is to live in a way that is not meant by god he made your body so you do not do anything to it, it will be as intended should you live properly but also god seems way more chill than back in the day so hopefully he'll forgive us for toilet paper and plastic waste and eating shrimp
Cody, I've just found your channel and subbed, blown away by the quality of the no BS content, absolutely love it. I've been getting lean on and off for years, but this time striving to get shredded just as a one off experiment and your content has been priceless, particularly your video on the photoshoot prep. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks, keep up the hard work and content. 👍
Bro ! I Look bigger now at 71kg than I ever did at 78kg when I was on a low carb diet. Am still training with the same weight infact I am training even less now. Complex carb by themselves are like steroids
Not at all, in this case. 1 day of low fats won’t negatively impact hormones, on top of that people over estimate how much fat you need to cause serious hormonal impacts. You can get away with pretty low levels (not that you need to though, either). Now, a very low calorie diet AND low fats can be harmful over a long enough diet - but that’s just part of cutting, tbh. Low cals and low body fat levels alone would negatively impact hormones, even on a high fat diet.
I started a reverse diet and I like the process but unfortunately increasing carbs definitely made me look fatter.. water definitely going in love handles for me
Ive been in deficit for about around 1 year now and the weight is not moving down anymore and i am facing issues with my sleep. It’s time to start the rever diet i gues.
For me I can cut really fast because my NEAT is usually really high even when I'm eating like 1500 calories, but the annoying part is that when I try to bulk up and I eat like 5000 calories a day I still can't gain weight because my NEAT goes through the roof and I'm still at the exact weight I started off with
How long do I need to wait for a tattoo that’ll go from my left wrist up forearm ? I’m training boxing . I’m worried about my glove rubbing on the wrist part , and the sweat cuz it’s a cardio sweat shop. Maybe a week? Then bring a bottle of water in a mist bottle and another bottle with soapy water? Paper towels ? We workout 10 minutes then get 1 minute breaks through an hour n half so I could spray clean it every break ? I just don’t want to stop training but I want this tattoo even more
Absolutely. The scale fucks with me as I just want to lose fat and get leaner/recomp. So instead a better approach is tracking calories as that’s the biggest measure to manage for fat loss
How do I reduce my cardio without gaining fat? I’m also trying to reverse diet, is it possible to do both? I did a 500 cal deficit and now I’m in a weight I’m happy with. But I’m aware I do too much cardio and I have been for a long period of time more than a year
Good video man. I know its years old, but good information. I have a show in 4 weeks, i usually do a recovery style diet post show. Its tough watching the shreds fade away, but its needed to make improvements.
I bought this machine. Yes confusing with the Bag of bolts to put it together. And the handle has to be lowered. And I'm 6'2. But a great machine overall to use.
Please answer this since it's my first tattoo and I am worried but working out is important for my mental health. So i got a tattoo on my bicep a week back. I avoided gyming for a week. But can I hit the gym now? If yes, what all should I be avoiding?
Cody, I know you advocate high carb but what about the people that are metabolically jacked up and using low carb to fix insulin resistance and lose weight. High carb is a problem for people with metabolic issues or blood sugar issues. I do eat low carb but have increased much more but I also eat high protein.
This advice is geared towards people looking to primarily build muscle, rather than lose fat and improve pre existing health issues. However there’s a lot of research to support that even individuals looking to lose weight and improve health will easily do so on a high carb diet, so long as they’re in a calorie deficit and consuming adequate protein. So big key here is to optimize muscle growth, low carb isn’t the smart route. However I have plenty of clients losing fat and improving blood markers, including insulin sensitivity, while following a high carb diet
@@CodyMcBroom1thank you also how many of the packets do you use per day? Do they have calories in them? I see that one of the ingredients is dextrose which is sugar so I’m concerned
I'm very glad I found your channel. I just got out of a extreme diet and for the past week, I've been eating like a maniac. I've been getting bloated every night and I'm wondering, "I'm only eating a few hundred calories over my maintenance and why am I getting so bloated and gaining weight back?" So I've done lots of research and found that my metabolism is lower than it should be, and I'm now reverse dieting. But to make up for the past week, I'm planning to eat in a deficit for a few days. Then once these days are over, I'll work my way back up to in between my calories I was eating and my new maintenance. And slowly increase from there. Does this sound ideal?
👍👍This is true. Being in shape, as you have explained is important for self discipline and in doing so, you are being a role model to the folks around you.
I love how you explain how to make the exercises more effective. Helps me to understand "why" it should be done that way. I appreciate that level of detail.
You know, this morning I’ve been debating whether I want to run or not. I’m really sore from the amount of push-ups I’ve done the past few days, and honestly don’t feel like it. I’m a cross country runner and USAFA hopeful. This video just gave me the drive to go run in an hour or so.
I needed to hear this. I'm definitely too conscious about perfecting form, which means I don't go heavy enough, and I don't go to failure....AND I do a lot of supersets because of time 🤦🏽♀️
